The final league match of the season is at home to Fox Archers on the 17th September 2011. Please notify Lisa by EMAIL if you are able to shoot on that day as soon as possible. CAN YOU HELP? Please be aware that on Saturday the 18th June, Ron has the Barbados Challenge taking place and there will be around 20 people shooting – starting at 10:00hrs. This will then be followed by a BBQ/Buffet if all goes to plan. There will then be a contest of 3 dozen arrows at 30 metres (using 5 bosses) starting at 13:00hrs. If anyone can possible attend and lend a hand it would be gratefully appreciated, be that setting up or simply being around to assist with other requirements. Many thanks, Ron
This Saturday is the CSSC Qualifier Rounds being hosted at Crown. As such the rounds being shot will be York, Herefords and Bristols with sighters sharp at 10 o’clock. Although this is the qualifiers and we are expecting archers from other clubs, we really need as many Crown archers as possible to shoot. Please can you confirm your attendance via email as soon as possible, so that we know how many targets are needing to be put out.
Please be at the field at 9 am to help with field set up etc.
The following weekend we are hosting Ferryfield in the Mid Kent League match. Unfortunately the Kenyons will not be available for the league match, so again really need as many volunteers to support the club and shoot. I will be pestering you all to confirm your attendance on Saturday, but if you’re not able to attend this weekend, please let me know again via email, your availability for the league match.
This weeks rounds will be: WSTERNS so a 12:30 meet to set the field with sighters at 13:00.
Please be aware the car park will be being resurfaced so parking will be tight and I believe down one side of the field. Please take every care when arriving and departing
Rounds this week will be: Westerns and Nationals with Field Setting at 12:00 noon for 12:30 Sighter’s at 13:00. A request has been duly placed to be good to us along with a little less breeze than last week.
This weeks rounds will be FITA & METRIC (12 Dozen Arrows) all members are asked to attend prior to 09:30 for target outplacements so that we can be ready for sighter’s scheduled for 10:00. Those not wishing to shoot Short metrics will start at 13:00.
