University of Greenwich at Medway student Jacqueline Gould, from Maidstone, is the national student ladies’ archery champion after winning the British Universities Sports Association tournament held in Birmingham. Jacqueline has already won a host of awards and competitions including the Junior National Championships. Jacqueline holds all the Kent titles: Lady Champion, Indoor Lady Champion, Longbow Lady Champion and Field Lady Champion. Her ambition is to compete at the 2012 Olympics, and with this in mind, practises every other day. Jacqueline, who is studying Geology, competes most weekends at events all over the country and would welcome sponsorship. She has been shooting for five years and belongs to the Crown Archers club in Maidstone . |
